I thought I would join the parade of pictures, and it's been a while!

Here's Shoko. His coat is nice and fluffy now, although his ruff is still getting there. His stripes are finally starting to come in. He turned 9 months (!) about a week ago and the last time he was weighed, he was about 12 pounds.

Pardon his swollen lip. I've taken him a couple of times to get it checked out and the vet just gave him antibiotic shots. It seemed to help for a couple days or so, but then it comes back. I'm starting to think it's a rodent's ulcer or something or irritation from him grooming himself and Achilles so much---like excessively. idk..

Shoko: "Not this again. I thought we were done with this last month."


"Maybe if I pretend she's not there."

Here's Achilles. He's turning 7 months in 3 days. Last time he was weighed was at 6.5 months and he weighed about 10 pounds!!! I talked to his breeder and apparently his father weighed 17 lbs. I'm hoping he's a big boy too!!! It'll be weird if he ends up being bigger than Shoko though just b/c he's always been the "younger/smaller" kitten, haha. He has definitely got a lot darker and is growing more handsome each day.



This is him at 5 months. You can definitely see the difference (I think anyway) between now and then.


And I thought I would just throw these pictures in for the "Aww" factor

I don't know if you guys have this problem, but Achilles LOVES drinking out of my mugs, or rather likes to try to. It's a bit of hassle trying to keep my mug away from him! This shot was just for fun.


<3 They've taken over the bed! So now I sleep on the floor, lol. (Actually, I just find the floor to be more comfortable.) GO BLUE!

What great pics - they are both so gorgeous. You don't post many pics -- you're going to have to do better, I love seeing them.

Ooooo they are soo beautiful! I feel so sad for poor Shoko's lip I hope it gets better soon! I love the pic of them sleeping together on the bed...so cute!

Beautiful boys. Gussie had a lip like Shoko's. The vet gave her a shot of antibiotics also, which slowly cleared it up, but then reappeared for a while. She is CONSTANTLY licking, so I thought that was the problem. It has finally cleared up, so maybe it will for Shoko as well. You have two beautiful big boys.
