Ragdoll Cat Forums

My Stanley was a sweet Norwegian Forest Cat. Tried so hard to keep him indoors but he would always sneak out. About 3 years ago was hit by a car right infront of our home in Maine. He was only eight years old. I miss him so much. He had the temperament of a Ragdoll and honestly if it weren't for his looks, I would swear he was one. He was also a solid 15lbs.

I have even better pictures somewhere that I need to scan to my computer. Will post when I can!

Thanks Everyone! Stanley was quite the kitty, perfect in so many ways. My only wish is that he was still here with me now, as excited as I am to take home a new ragdoll in the spring, I would trade any new kitty, for my stan the man. Every heart ache and break up in Highschool he was there to lick my tears, when I traveled home from College, he would always come running for me when I called his name. Now that I've had a place of my own for over a year, I realized I am truly missing my kitty. Gosh, talking about him can bring tears to my eyes. I miss him so much. No wonder why I am so obsessed with getting my raggie, I'm really longing for that companionship that you can only share with a pet. My boyfriend thinks I am nuts and doesn't understand how I could be so excited to be a kitty, but I know it's because I know how awesome it is to have that one companion in your life that loves you no matter what, even if I'm in a bad mood!

i agree wegies are addictive but raggies. i can vouch for that as i am in the process of getting another wegie to keep jj my black wegie company.

What a gorgeous boy Stan was! It is heartbreaking when you lose a cat that way. I lost my cat Sheba, she was a moggie and not an indoor cat, she was killed on the road outside my house too. It took ages to get over her loss, she was 14 and as fit as a fiddle.
