I checked with a vet. In that practice they are aware of t foetus and look for it is a part of the fecal exam included in every annual exam. (Of course, they do not do the bag test or PCR testing as part of the wellness process.) So, they, at least, are more aware than even I expected, since it is on their BOL list. ; )

I am not interested in proving anyone wrong. However, in those cases where it seems to me information is incorrect or misleading, then the entire benefit of forums over private communications is that accurate information or different viewpoints will be posted - or, I suppose - additional misinformation. ; ) (At least I think Teresa has read much more about and understands better t foetus than absent my posts. ; ) )

As for the other misunderstandings, see above.
i happen to agree with teresa, linda and coral.

so what ur vets checks it. big deal.
dianne's vet did not. just because urs does, it at no point takes away what dianne nor her cats have gone through.

dianne i am really sorry you and maddy have had to go through this for so long before you got an answer. i hope they all get the treatment and u can all recover and be healthy again.

never forget there are people on here that do support you and thank you for bringing this up and making us all aware.

love danni titan and sienna.
Pay better attention when you read and reread my posts now if needed. Do not just accept the misreadings of others and go from there. They are not ABOUT her reports being accurate or appropriate. They are about t foetus, why a vet MIGHT not look for it first, its diagnosis and treatment. One of the issues was the GENERALIZATION about the lack of knowledge and reluctance to test of OTHER vets. Of course, singular experiences, just like hers, are just that. However, when the issue IS the awareness of vets in general, then individual reports are relevant absent some type of polling information. That is the reason Teresa indicated she was going to ask her vet about it at her next visit. I will be interested in her report on that.

You wrote: "it at no point takes away what dianne nor her cats have gone through" And I agree and never posted anything to the contrary.
