They are in love, even if they can't have babies, I mean, I took them to the vet.... I'm sorry, but I don't remember the right name for this kind of surgery

I have adopted him and also Briciola from a voluntary association, where I give a helping hand since 4 years.
Unfortunately in Italy there isn't a good information (feeding, behaviour, healt) about rabbits, so people has this animals without a real knowledge and when they have troubles, they ask help to the voluntary associations also to give up rabbits.
We have a big problem with veterinaries, the majority oh them doesn't know how treating rabbits (?!), because in Italy the rabbit is mainly considered an animal to eat and not to have free in the house or in the garden.... consequently veterinaries don't know how helping a rabbit to live for long time.
The volunteers like me, have to learn to look after rabbits thanks to internet, books.
Now I know how to do an injection Smile
For example the vet for my rabbits lives and works in Genova, which is 250 km from me, so I go there twice in a year and for the emergency I have drugs at home

Don't worry, it doesn't matter if your italian isn't perfect, I appreciate the meaning.... and your force to be understood.
and then.... what would I say about my bad english??? I can't justify myself saying that english isn't a popular language lol
Ary,those rabbits are just so dang cute!!!!!
Do they use the same litter box as the cats do or do they need there own?
My husband has some relatives over there not sure were they live at but, I think his grandfather grow up in
campotosto area.
thanks ary. i used to be good at italian when i was at school. one day i hope to take it up again.

but in all honesty those rabbits are absolutely amazing looking!!!
I love Rabbits, my first very own pet was a Rabbit. I loved her she was so sweet. Your Rabbits are beautiful, thank you for sharing their pictures.
It's good to give them pine tree needles and branches to chew on. It helps keep their teeth from growing too big. I think they also need rabbit pellet food, don't they?
