Solo is almost 5 weeks old tomorrow. When should he start eating some wet food and how would i introduce him to it or should i let bella do it all herself. He is already drinking water from a large bowl(that used for bella when i have to leave for the day) and his own little dish. He has been sniffing wet food and some dry food that his mom gets and though he did eat some and lick most of the juice that is all he has done to wet food.

Let him join in on mom's food when he wants (which, as a lactating queen, should be "kitten food") - and it does not have to be only wet. There may be a point at which you will want to push it a bit, but many kittens will just join mom and go from there. It is important to monitor weight gain often to make sure a kitten is getting enough.

She has been on kitten food from the time solo was born. She has a bowl for wet food and dry food. Should i also be putting a litterbox down for him at this time or wait a bit longer. He is quite the chubby little fellow so i know he is getting quite enough to eat. I call him my little oinker.

Yes. He should have access to a litterbox - mom's is fine - or let her use "his." With teeth, mom will want to start weaning him. (It is much safer to monitor weight, since it will give you immediate notice that mom is reducing him and he is not picking up food fast enough to keep gaining. You can then entice him - or syringe feed KMR.)

He is such a little darling!!! It must be so much fun to watch him grow and change!

He does have access to his own but apparently he wants to use his moms litterbox. Which he just used for the first time and did a little pee in it. So i am happy about that. She is starting to reduce him he only feeds maybe 1 or 2 times a day now. I will try and entice him as i have tried kmr milk and he wont take it at all(syringe and no syringe)

He is very entertaining. Hes been trying to climb the stairs, attack mine and my fiances feet, attacks his mama, chews on toilet paper(i have a picture where he has a piece stuck to his bottom lip which is very cute) has been trying to chew on our tv stand. There is never a boring day with little solo around.

Did you say your baby's name is Solo? So is mine! And I thought I chose a unique name

lol yeah he is a little blue lynx mitten male and he was the only kitten in his moms litter. I still think its a unique name. Your the only other person i have noticed that has named their kitten solo.
