Hello all. My wife and I have had Siamese cats for the last 30 years and after having to say goodbye to my best friend Sammy we decided to get a Ragdoll or two. We brought Lucy and Jasper home two days ago and we're all getting to know each other. We got Ragdolls because of their reputation for being so loving and we are definitely love our pets. We are looking forward to sharing a long happy loving life with the newest members of our family.

Welcome and I am new to them too about 8 months and let me tell you they are habit forming as I got another one before Zeke ever joined us. We got his half brother. Welcome and look forward to hearing and seeing all of your babies and send some of your siamese too you had. We love all babies here.

Welcme!!! I am also pretty new here. So new in fact that I don't even haven't picked up my boys" yet. Pretty soon though. I fell in love with ragdoll when my daughter adopted one and then another. I tried to sneak them in my purse but she caught me and I figured I should adopt my own. lol.....three more weeks and then they should both be home. This forum is so welcoming and friendly I am sure you will find it such a help as there are to many knowedgeable people on here.

Hi & welcome to you all. I am sorry to read of your loss of Sammy. I too came to Ragdolls after having had a cat of a different breed (birman in my case!) for many years. I could not face another, with feeling so sad and resaerched different breeds before settling on Ragdolls......that was only just over a year ago and I have not looked back, they are a gorgeous breed, I am sure you won't be disappointed!!
Enjoy Lucy and Jasper and be sure to keep us updated, especially with pics!!!
