Thanks for all your kind comments about my little fur companion... Yes, it is a real gecko or lizard. No, she doesn't eat them because I "rescue" them for another day. That means Sassy usually spends time looking for the lost prey and meowing at me to help her!

She and I go for a walk in our neighborhood nearly every day and she wears a leash and harness that looks like a vest. This way she has a more difficult time trying to get out of it!

Sometimes I tether her under a palm tree where she can hang out in the shade and bushes and just check out the neighborhood.

Its amazing to see how much they are creatures of habit and she is on a time schedule at certain times of day she just wants to go out... Does anyone else have this same thing with rituals?

where ever did you get that leash and whatchamacolit? Having one of those days where I cannot think of words!
