After a night on the road upon leaving Scarborough, we arrived at JenC's house in the afternoon on Sunday. After a few raggie cuddles (pics to go in gallery) we walked to a local pub and had a lovely roast dinner (they chose pork roast, I had lamb) -- with Yorkshire pudding, red cabbage, roast potatoes, steamed vegetables, and the meat. I also learned about a new fruit drink called J20 (I think that's what it was) - totally yummy!!!

Jen has a lovely garden:

And we also met her husband Dave (and her two daughters, Kate and Sal)

(No that's just me and Sue - not Jen's daughters, although I know we can pass as them, LOL)

Then on to the pub on the river for roast dinner and a walk around the river afterwards to walk off some of the good food!

The boats you see are called "narrow" boats:

It was a wonderful afternoon that we tremendously enjoyed. Now...on to the gallery where I can demonstrate my catnapping abilities....
Looks a beautiful area and the weather is just perfect for sight-seeing. Once again, fabulous pics, T.
Oh wow Still jealous!!! Especially as I have a lousy day at work Sad
Cool You're having such a great time....and the weather is perfect from what I can tell.

ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY!
More great photos, Teresa! My goodness Jen is tiny. I could put her in my pocket. Tongue
Lovely photos. I especially like that last one of the swan, we only get black swans here and that white one is just devine. Smile
Beautiful area. Nice swans.
Great photos Teresa, and it's good to see you are having such a good time. I can't wait to see the next photos, keep them coming!!!
Hello all!
A little while since I last posted, but T's visit has spurred me into action! It was lovely to see Sue and Teresa. The girls were well and truly spoilt with lots of treats. Normally Maia will keep her distance when we have visitors, but when Sue and T arrived they both came for the fuss, attention (and catnip treats!!!) You can tell from Teresa's photos that they weren't in the least bit shy. They've been extra playful all week ~ I'm sure the catnip vapour's still lingering...
