I love it....so beautiful!
This is someone's private garden? This looks like a park!

If this is the garden, I wonder what the house looks like ...
Yes, it's Mary's (marypr who has Frankie) private garden, or yard as we call it in the US. It is lovely and I think I could live in it, it's so peaceful. Her house is just as lovely.
Thank you for those kind words, Teresa! You certainly take great pics!
Wow! What a beautiful garden. You should be very proud, Mary.

I'd love to say I am gifted, but I would be telling porkies! 14 years ago, when my husband died, I had to alter the shape of the garden as he used to grow a lot of vegetables and I knew I wouldnt be able to manage the layout of the garden as it was then, so I told a landscape gardener what I wanted, and he did the work , but I have changed a few things since and have done quite a lot of the upkeep myself , but I do have a gardener comes in twice a year to do the heavy work because there is quite a bit of cutting back to do as there is the front of the house as well.

I suppose it depends what you call enormous, Jenny! It is fairly big, the house was built in 1962 and you got a bit more land with houses in those days!
