Meeko is a cute name, too

I love Meeko... I mean Peanut is a nice name too, but it would sound strange if he turns out to be a big ragdoll (I used to call Diwan Mousy, but let's face it he sure is no mouse )
I'm peculiar about Meeko because it's the name of Diwan's father and he is a great looking and very sweet cat.

Meeko is a perfect name. He is so cute. He looks so much like Blue when he was younger. Now I need a crane to pick up Blue....ha. Newman and Meeko....sounds great together.

Things are going so well. The brothers have become literally inseperable. They play and sleep together and this morning they used the litter box side by side! I'm so happy to have Meeko. I had a few doubts the first day or two when I realized he had an uri and was very thin and small and sleeping most of the day and night away - but things have really improved.

He plays for hours and definitely keeps up with Newman. He'll still sneeze now and then but he's good about taking his medicine, eats like a horse and seems very happy and adjusted already.

This will sound crazy (bear with me) but I feel like he looked sweet and cute but also sad in all of his early photos. He looked a little "droopy" somehow? I figured it was just his face and he'd always look a bit sad (at least to me) but whatever it was I was seeing is gone. He doesn't look that way now. He looks excited! Excited to play with something new or old - excited to eat - to sleep in the window - to grab another cats tail. I'll be sure to get new photos soon.

Things are great and I'm so relieved and happy. Sigh.

So happy to hear that Meeko is doing so well!!! I remember when my boys would both use the litter box at the same time, it was so cute! Now they're so big that they wouldn't both fit in there, so enjoy it while it lasts
