Hello everyone, sorry I've not been around for a while, hope you are all ok.
A couple of weeks ago I noticed when Freddie had eaten he was in his tray not long after. Then it got that his food was just going straight through him. Apart from that he was fine in himself, playing, wanting his food etc. I took him to the vet on Tuesday who said he thought it was inflamation in his intestine, possibly with some infection as well. He gave him an antibiotic injection and one of predniselone. Freddie then became very quiet and didn't eat much for a couple of days. The vet said just to feed him chicken and white fish, well, he's not keen on fish, but he did manage the chicken eventually.I feel the drugs must have upset him, he didn't seem like the same cat and I was wishing I hadn't taken him to the vets, but knew he couldn't go on as he was. He has improved now in that h's eating more and is a bit brighter, but he's still not as he was before. Also, since he had the injections on Tuesday, he hasn't had a poo!! He's gone the other way now! He's weeing ok but that's all. Have any of you had a similar problem with any of your raggies? Freddie is due back at the vets on Tuesday.I hope he's back to normal before Teresa comes on Saturday!!
