Hello everyone, sorry I've not been around for a while, hope you are all ok.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed when Freddie had eaten he was in his tray not long after. Then it got that his food was just going straight through him. Apart from that he was fine in himself, playing, wanting his food etc. I took him to the vet on Tuesday who said he thought it was inflamation in his intestine, possibly with some infection as well. He gave him an antibiotic injection and one of predniselone. Freddie then became very quiet and didn't eat much for a couple of days. The vet said just to feed him chicken and white fish, well, he's not keen on fish, but he did manage the chicken eventually.I feel the drugs must have upset him, he didn't seem like the same cat and I was wishing I hadn't taken him to the vets, but knew he couldn't go on as he was. He has improved now in that h's eating more and is a bit brighter, but he's still not as he was before. Also, since he had the injections on Tuesday, he hasn't had a poo!! He's gone the other way now! He's weeing ok but that's all. Have any of you had a similar problem with any of your raggies? Freddie is due back at the vets on Tuesday.I hope he's back to normal before Teresa comes on Saturday!!
Oh Mary I am sorry to hear that Freddie is poorly. I hope that now he has started to improve, he will progress quickly.

Please give him a tickle for me until I can do it for myself!!

xx
Oh Mary, I'm sorry to hear about Freddie being poorly... I hope he will be better quickly. Hugs and gentle tummy tickles to Freddie...
Have passed on your tickles, Sue and Nicky, and Freddie thanks you very much!! They must have been magic tickles as he is now back to normal, bowel wise!!!! I'm so pleased for him, as he must have been very uncomfortable. Hopefully he should be back to himself again by you come on Saturday, Sue!
Oh Mary, what a relief it must have been to see that poo. Truly, I say that with sincerity. Like you, I am always on pins and needles when something is wrong with one of the girls, wondering when things will be "right" again and just wanting them to be well NOW. I'm so glad that he seems to be doing so much better, and I'll give that boy tons of lovin' when I see him!!
Hi Mary,

I hope Freddie continues to feel better. I have a real soft spot for your little lad.

Prayers are with you. Just keep checking and making sure he is pooing and if not have the vet check it out as I was told that is an area they do not check unless asked to. For now give him lots of loving from us.
Thank you all so much. Really happy to say that Freddie has picked up quite a lot today. ( And he's finally pooed!! What a subject!! ) He's been asking for food every time I move, so that's a good sign.
Thanks again.
p.s. He'll be waiting for you, Teresa, on Saturday!!
So glad to hear Freddie is feeling better! It's quite hilarious when you think about what makes us happy (i.e. a poo). lol
Glad to hear that Freddie is better!
