I feed Newman both canned and dry kitten food. He's doing very well with Wellness dry kitten food and I'm happy with that one. But the Wellness canned kitten food is pretty expensive...and he doesn't seem to like it all that much.

He always wants to run to the grown ups dishes and eat their canned food instead (not Wellness).

I was thinking of trying another canned kitten food for him.

I've heard that it's bad to feed canned food with fish in it on a regular basis? Is that true?

Is Nutro canned kitten food a good choice? I like that they make a 5.5 oz can size. Most canned kitten foods only come in 3 oz which is great if you're feeding 1 kitten...but now that Redford will be coming to live with us on Saturday the bigger can size would be nice.

Thanks!
The issue with fish commercial foods is the danger of mercury and other heavy metals. Keep in mind that most are fish flavored and may have other meat, which lowers the risks of a high fish content diet. Check the label.
Would you be worried about this list of ingredients (for the heavy metal issue or anything else?)
BTW, thank you for all the great help you always provide!
