No problems switching what so ever. It is the same formula ( corn) but a complete diffrent consistancy. Much less tracking.
Good luck
I wish I could get my cats to use worlds best litter. I put some in one of their boxes and they won't use it. They like the clay I guess.....but it does get everywhere as well and drives me crazy. I'm wondering if the ramp would really help. I didn't even know they made such a thing. Maybe I will post a thread on ramps and see how many use them and if they are effective with cutting back on the mess. I do put a rubber mat down with ridges in front of each box and that seems to help. Sorry, I couldn't help with the bedding I don't have much trouble in that area because mine sleep under the bed at night. Smile
When Benito had problems with peeing in the sink I set up a second uncovered litterbox with the corn cob litter (the wallmart brand that I found is very hard to find) and it was rather messy getting all over the place. I took the rest of it and mixed it with the Tidy Cat small spaces which is the clumping litter that looks like little balls and both cats love it and both cats use both boxes.

I was having trouble with how heavy the tidy cat litter was so with mixing the two I found it to be so much lighter with less mess outside the boxes when I started mixing them. Then I found a hybred cat litter from Pet Smart that has both the clay and corn cob together like I am doing. For me it feels like I am getting the best of the clay and corn litter together. I can manage the weight of the litter pans and litter containers much better and I notice I am not filling up the litter pans as much even though I pick them daily. (the infamous nightly archaeological study digs)

I am not trying to advocate any one brand of litter and although I was experimenting with different litters in the attempt to help Benito's problem I will admit I was a bit nervous with all the changes I was making and feared it would mess up Julianna. I found that she really did not care what the litter was and uses both boxes no matter what I have in them. Now I find that both cats use both boxes and don't really care if there is privacy or not. (It is sort of disconcerting when they will go potty right in front of me.

To attest to their wonderful adaptability I accidentally put the cover on one of the litterbox backwards where the entrance faced the wall and both cats just used the open one until I found my mistake. I did not realize my mistake until the next evening when I did my litterbox duties.

Since I have been using the hybred litter there is less tracked with NONE of it tracked into the bed. I still do have to sweep up around the boxes and a little bit will make its way right outside the bathroom the litterboxes are in but the tracking had dramatically dropped since they started using the hybred litter.
