Hello everyone,
My name is Wilson, and I am from a very small country called Singapore... LOL... It is really far far away from where most of the members here are living... To give you an idea, I am about 20hrs of flight from SD, USA... Far, right? Haha...
OK, actually, I was PM'ed by Teresa (who found me registering secretly in this lovely forum... LOL) to give an intro of myself.. Well, I am not a Ragdoll owner yet... But, I will be getting my first Ragdoll kitten (or rather two, hehehe) from a very lovely and reputable breeder... Both the kittens will come to me at 12wks old, desexed, fully vaccinated with F4, with paper registration, health guarantee, etc...
I was searching the web to learn more abt Ragdolls so that I can get myself prepared before the arrival of the kittens.. I was lucky to have found this lovely forum... So far, I have learnt alot of information (and still learning) from this forum... Hope to learn more from the members here.. Pls be patient with me if I ask too many questions in the forum... I will share with you all the pics of my Ragdoll kittens when the time comes... :-)
Cheers!!

Welcome, Wilson! We'll look forward to hearing more about your kittens (and seeing them too!).
Welcome Wilson and I know you will simply adore those little ragdolls. I know mine are the love of my life after my husband of course.
Looking forward in getting to know you and those little ones. Again welcome.
Thank you Coral and Paula for the warm welcome! I am sure I will not regret getting Ragdolls as my companions... LOL... Ragdolls are such a lovable and huggy (is that a correct word to use? ;-) ) breed! And, ahhh... Those stunning blue eyes!!

Hi Wilson -- so glad you've joined in with us. We all love to hear about new ones to come, and are happy to answer any questions we can. Congrats on making a GREAT decision to get two at the same time too. You'll never regret it!
Hi Wilson & welcome!!!
I am fascinated to know you live in Singapore, what a lovely and such intersting a place to live.............especially for someone like me that loveeeeeees oriental food!!!!
I have only visited Singapore once (I live in the UK) en route back from Australia. My Husband lived for 3 years in Singapore as a child, as his Father was in the forces and we retraced his steps to his old home etc etc......and of course went to Raffles.......it is a wonderful country indeed.
As for the forum; I am not surprised that Teresa picked you up on her radar, really nothing on here gets passed her, but what a wonderful job she does, for us, making signatures and so on and just somehow; keeping us all together as a "family"!!
Waiting for your kittens is a very exciting time, I will look forward to hearing your progress in counting down to collection day and of course then we want pictures, lots of them!!!!!

Thks Teresa and Sue!
Sue : I am soo happy that you have been to Singapore before! Singapore has changed alot for the past years! Hope that you will drop by Singapore again in the near future! I can be your tour guide (without any charges, of course!) when you are here, and bring you to eat all the oriental food that you like, and see my Ragdolls too... Hahaha...
Teresa : Finally, I listened to you and made a short intro of myself... Is the intro ok? Haha.. When I get my Ragdolls, I will pm you and learn how to make that one-n-only signature picture! LOL...

Hello Wilson and welcome to the forum. Can't wait to see your new babies when you get them.
Hi Wilson and Welcome to the forum. I look forward to getting to know you and your soon to be furbabies. And seeing photos of them too. What colour/pattern are they? Have you thought of any names?
I live in Adelaide, Australia which is only 6-7 hours flight from Singapore. My mum has visited the airport there on the way to Tanzania, and I have seen photos of the huge airport that is somewhere over there lol. But that is about as much as I have seen.
Are you importing your ragdolls? I've heard of a lot of ragdolls that have been imported from Australia to Singapore...
Thanks eeyoredag and cloe for the welcome! :-)
Eeyoredag : I still don't know what colour or pattern or even the sex of the kittens that I will be getting from my breeder.. Basically, I don't really care, as I like all the colours and patterns (whether seal, blue, lilac, choc, cream, bi-colour, mitted. etc etc)... LOL... Right now, the litters are still very small... I will let my breeder to choose the kittens for me... At the end of the day, I just want to be owned by genuine Ragdolls, showing the correct temperament and in good health... :-) With this, then I can enjoy my next 15 to 20 years with my lovely Ragdolls... Yeah!
Cloe : Singapore is really a very tiny island in the world globe.. You probably can't even see it, unless you use a reading glass or magnifying glass to see it in the world map... LOL... But, we do have lots of tourists from overseas coming to visit Singapore, for the food and shopping, of course! The "huge" airport that you have seen is called Changi Airport... :-)
Yes, I am importing my Ragdolls from overseas.. I would rather spend abit more money to buy a genuine Ragdoll from a reputable breeder, than to get a very cheap one (where many times it is really very cheap and enticing) from the BYBs... So, I had contacted many reputable breeders from Australia and NZ.. Finally, I decided to get my 1st Ragdoll from a very lovely and experienced Ragdoll breeder... Although I always have lots of questions to ask her, but, she is very patient with me, and replied all my questions promptly... I really learnt alot from her... :-)
Currently, in Singapore, Ragdolls is still a pretty "new" breed.. The more popular breeds here are the Persians, Siamese and Maine Coons... So, I hope to bring in the Ragdolls and put them on the show bench, so that more ppl will get to know this lovely breed, and get them excited and "addicted" to Ragdolls! Hahaha....
