Hi All,
I am getting my Ragdoll kitten next Saturday. Will have to drive to get her, but will be able to do it in one day. Am very excited! I have her kitten food already, and the litter she is used to using, as well as a new litter box for her. I will keep her isolated for a couple of weeks from my other cats and to give her time to adjust. I have only seen one picture of her so I am very excited. She is a blue cream colorpoint tortie, but right now she just looks like a blue colorpoint. Guess that's it for now. By the way, how does one post pictures? Thanks,

Forgot to mention that her name is "Kaitie-Did" or just "Kaitie" for short.
Getting a new kittie is exciting. I really like the Reds and torties. Good Luck on the journey. I'm sure before we know it you'll be on your way to getting a second one. Smile
Thanks! She is not showing much tortie right now but I know her colors will appear and darken over the next couple of years, so that will be fun to watch! Right now she is looking like a blue colorpoint with a ring around her tail! I have heard of something called "tortietude." Do you think it really exists ? ? ?

We have a Blue Tortie mitted girl that hardly is showing any cream. She is 1.5 years. It is more white than cream. We also have a cream mitted girl that is almost all white.

As far as the Tortietude. Yes it exists! (at least it seems to) It's that Red Gene. It makes them fiery.

Thankfully they only have 1/2. Smile

Hi and welcome!  That's exciting news...I hope Saturday comes quickly for you!!  Her picture is so sweet.  I'm anticipating my first ragdoll Moe...he's a seal bicolor.  So, I can totally relate to your excitement right now!!  Looking forward to hearing about her arrival!
Thank you so much! I haven't heard from her breeder in three days even though I have e-mailed several times, so I just hope everything is OK. If I don't hear by tomorrow night I am going to call just to check on things. The anticipation is really exciting but really difficult also!
Well, this is really strange. I haven't received any answer to my e-mails or phone calls in four days. Does anyone think I should be worried? It is Tuesday and I am supposed to pick up my kitten this weekend. The breeder does not work outside the home and did not mention any plans to go out of town or anything like that. I am just getting the feeling that something is wrong. Am I jumping to conclusions? Has anyone else had an experience like this?
