Hello! I just brought home my first Ragdoll kitten, and he's absolutely gorgeous! He's 12 weeks old, and we've decided to name him Monkey. We're very glad to have this new member in our family and super excited to have him grow old with us! We live in Hawaii, and we're loving life! I've posted in the Kitten section about how to acclimate Monkey to our puppy Koa, so please check that out too and let me know any tips you have

Welcome! Monkey is adorable! Where in Hawaii do you live? I have family in Hilo, on the Big Island, and I love it there (and am so jealous of my cousins who got to grow up in Hawaii!).
Welcome to the forum! You will meet a bunch of really nice people and learn a lot too - we all LOVE pictures so make sure you post more (including pictures of Koa please!) Monkey is beautiful. My last dog was an American Bulldog (Conan) who grew up with my older cat (Kismet - not a raggie). Not to say that they are all alike but I am sure that Koa will be fine as long as you take the introductions slow.

Thanks everyone for the very warm welcome!! I'll be sure to keep you all updated on the progress we're making introducing our two babies to each other. Monkey is a super snuggle bunny, and Koa is starting to calm down a bit in his excitement by the door (he's lazy, so he's starting to take nap breaks!).
