Okay so its not exactly official but i am getting a little seal point girl. its through a good breeder. she has 3 gorgoeus girls two seal points and one bi colour. i was gonna get the bi but on the afterbirth the mother must have chewed a little to hard on her tail and well the end has come off so she has a really short tail, not show quality now.

so the little seal point is mine. no pictures yet she is almost 5 weeks old and the breeder will send me some next week.

Congratulations on the new kitten.

Damaged and lost tails (and kitten deaths) can be from blood type incompatibility between mother and kitten. Hopefully, the mother cat has been blood typed by antibody tests (since DNA blood typing is not reliable for Ragdolls yet). (In this case, the breeder may have witnessed the mother do it and know how it happened.)

The breeder has actually never experienced this a noticed the end falling off and this is the first time it has ever happened in 6 years of breeding. she was told by her good breeder friend that this sometimes happen.
