Ok, I admit it....I've probably lost my mind...but....on a post a week or so ago by SueK about keeping inside cats occupied led me on a quest of searching the web. In my searching, I came across a book called "Felinestein" by Suzanne Delzio and cindy Ribarich DVM. I am having more fun with this book. First they give "activities" to perform to test your cats IQ. There is more about what interactions should be given by breeders for kittens. Then the section I was really interested in....how to keep cats occupied when you aren't home. They have some great ideas to try and help stimulate them, but I'm also running across some great products.
Here's one I had never heard of:
Pavlov's Cat Scratcher
While I'm not sure I would have bought this book ($10.95) -- I would suggest if you can, see if they have it at your local library (or have them interlibrary loan it in as I did).
I may post some more things in the future from it. I know I'm getting some great ideas of things I can do for the girls during the day while I'm gone.
