We're expecting our first litter of Ragdolls any MINUTE now - my beautiful blue lynx bicolor girl was bred with my awesome blue colorpoint boy - I can't wait!!! I'll post pictures as soon as the babies are born. Just wanted to share my excitement.

I remember our first litter it was very exciting and scary at the same time.
We read many books and thought we were prepared but when the time came, we were fumbling so we called our mentor and a couple of other breeders to come over and help.
How exciting, I hope all goes well and I can't wait to see their pictures!

I know, I'm so nervous and excited. I've notified the vet (just in case) and my mentor is awesome. She's expecting that 3 am phone call, LOL!!!
Every little noise she makes (her name is Hanalei), my ears are perking up!! The poor baby is just so huge and uncomfortable. *crosses fingers all goes well* I'll post pictures just as soon as possible.
They're HERE!!! Three beautiful little ones.....I *think* two girls and a boy. Mom is doing great!! And she was so thoughtful - she started delivering them at 10 am yesterday (not 3 in the morning, LOL.) My mentor was on the phone with me the whole time - it was a great first experience!! The little ones are eating and growing. I'll post pictures soon - they will all be blue colorpoint mitted with the possibility of lynx. So cute!!!

Glad you started off with an easy one. Enjoy them; it will be fun. (Colorpoint is a pattern in Ragdolls and that use can be confusing. Ragdolls are pointed, so that part usually goes without saying - or just use "point." ; ) )
