So far Benito and Julianna are adjusting real well. I have begun playing with them in the mornings between getting ready for work and in the evening after I have "picked" the litter box. They love to play a lot!. Julianna being younger is more kitten like but 3 year old Benito gives her a run for her money. Both cats now will roam the whole house and are no longer afraid or concerned with the "dog" downstairs. They like to be downstairs when I am there.
Anyway last night during our "play" session my house mate Lupe had Julianna and I had Benito and we started playing Lazar Cats like from the Saturday Night Live episodes. It was just too funny. The eyes were the lazar and the tails were the machine guns. Yes this was weird but the cats LOVED IT! I think it was because we were holding them and essentially giving them attention. They were purring as we played. Of course we were fawning over then and enjoying them for their soft coats and gentle natures. I really now understand why Ragdolls are great with family that have young children. Both cats did come from a home with small children (boys) where Benito was into the ruckus the boys made but Julianna did not care for the young boys (she liked the adults better). Taking that into account I was surprised she enjoyed our play but then her personally really changed since coming to our home. After we put the cats back onto the floor both of them would not leave us alone. Too funny. We then played with them in more normal type cat play using their toys and the turbo round ball scratchy thing (Julianna loves this thing).
So.....what kind of games do you play with your Ragdolls?
