I got a call this morning at 3:30 saying they took mom back to the ER. I live in Ohio and she lives in Florida. I tried to lay back down ,and Princess jumped up to lay by my head and Shylo laid at the foot of the bed. Snickers our chocolate lab, came from my husband side of the bed to lay on my side. It`s like they knew mommie was upset. Mom is 84 and has been in the hospital twice in the pass 2 weeks for her copd. Her blood pressure was dropping. I`m starting to think it is going down hill. I could use a few prayers for mom.

I am so sorry for what you are going thru. I will certainly say a prayer for both you and your mom. As far as the kitties go....they are amazing at sensing when we are upset arent they? They just always seem to know and try to comfort. Mine do the same thing.
I am really sorry to hear this; thinking of you and your Mom and hoping that some better news comes. Hold that fur family close, it is strangely comforting on the bad days; isn't it?!!

Thank you guys for the prayers. The part that surprises me is that the two cats never , ever been on the bed at the same time to stay. The first one to bed is the one that stays. But this morning they both stayed, my husband sat up and was amazed at what we were seeing.
I think that cats are very sensitive to our feelings, and yours are to you. I pray that your mom will improve and for peace for you during this difficult time.
I am sorry to hear your mother is not doing well. I will send prayers your way. It always amazes me how empathic pets can be. Cats are so sensitive to their loved ones. My parrots are the same way as when I am upset or feeling down they are the first to comfort me. I cannot imagine my life without my animals.
If you have time please update us with how your mother is doing. Hopefully she will bound back and get stronger.

I hope all goes well with your mom. My animals are very quick to judge my moods, because of body lang 3.uag10e (sorry, heavy, heavy kitten on keyboard). I'll start again.....because they are constantly studying my body language and looking for non verbal clues. I love how they know and come to comfort me. There is nothing like their unconditional love when I'm sad.
I hope your mom gets better, and all is well. I will keep you both in my prayers.
