I AGREE!!!! I love how the seals get darker with time...

Do flames get redder/ oranger (I know they are not words)

THEN AGAIN... I personaly have no will power at all when it comes to kittens so driving there for me would mean coming home with one and a deposit on the other!

Meeting them is the best way for sure. Can you get a baby sitter for the day and go alone? See which one is more cuddley or ask the breeder to send you some videos!!!!

BOTH!!!!

My Teddy is a seal bicolor lynx which is the kitten on my signature and Velvet will be a retired breeder and is a blue colorpoint. I vote with your kids and I would get the one that could come home now. Waiting takes a lot of patience. I've been waiting for 5 months for my Teddy and he comes home the end of this month!! I can finally say that in the same month!! Congrats on which ever kitten you choose and I hope you post lots of pics too.

Hi Thank you for the response! I just updated my post with pictures of both. Take a look if you get a chance and let me know what you think!

I just got to see the pictures of the two kittens. The blue bicolor is beautiful. The mink one doesn't do it for me. I haven't found any mink flames that's a combo I haven't found together. I know minks are NOT tradional ragdoll colors but they sure are cute and if you aren't breeding or showing it doesn't matter. They are just as loveable and beautiful. It's your call and let us know what you decided. I can't wait to find out!!
Yes, flames get darker with time, but it takes longer because it's a lighter color than blue or seal. I don't know if minks also darken with age, but whatever is usual there would also apply to flame minks. When I brought Winston and Ollie home, Ollie (the flame bicolor) was all white except for orange ears and tail. He now has a gorgeous orange inverted V on his face, which continues to get deeper in color as time goes on (they're turning 1 year old in a few weeks), and his body color is starting to appear.
In terms of personalities, I wasn't able to visit the breeder before I picked up my kittens but the breeder knew what I was looking for in personality (in terms of both "must-have"s and "would-be-nice-but-not-a-deal-breaker"s) and she knew her kittens so well that she steered me towards the right match(es). So even if you aren't able to visit, you should ask your breeder about their personalities and which one would be the better match Smile Also, if you haven't already done so, you might want to ask which would be better suited to a busy household and enthusiastic children.
The blue is absolutely adorable and the flame doesnt really look mink to me so Im sticking to my original choice of the blue.
