Ok, maybe I've not mentioned this but Madisyn has not shown the least bit of interest in giving kisses (licking), tho her new vet got one a couple weeks ago. She's not a head butt'er either. I'm known in the kitty world as giving mouth drooling messages and for the life of me I couldn't understand why I wasn't getting any licking responses.

We decided to get a couple more of the drinkwells today, so naturally we look for other things of interest for the girls. I picked up a "zoom groom" for cats along with other misc stuff.

Well, I just now pulled it from the package and on the first stroke SHE LICKED MY HAND! I'm like WOWWWWW.......each time I used the brush I got kisses (as I call them). Needless to say she will be bald by midnight because I just love this groomer and the end result which is licking! I'm in absolute heaven now.........lol. Doesn't take much to make me happy, eh?

He is sorry that he couldn't find one in her pretty hair color but he thought she would still be stunning in the shocking pink.

And here I try to discourage Ebony to lick me all the time!

Maddy says to tell Cello thanks! We think she'll look great in shocking pink. I tried not to over groom yesterday but it was tough. Very little, if any hair is on the brush so that's probably a good thing for her!

On the other hand Tippy would be bald if I used it much on her. It's always troubled me that Tippy's hair comes out so easy. She was tested for thyroid, etc long ago when we noticed her doing that but was told everything was fine. She's been on Science Diet since we got her, tho I'm trying to wean her to something else now. She seems to prefer Maddy's food at the moment........lol. Tippy's only 7.5 lbs, so she's not overweight and I guess the extra calories from the kitten food won't hurt her too much.

Maddy seems to be the extreme opposite of your precious one. I like to be kissed, not obsessively, but it's a nice reward for all the poo paws we shampoo, bums we wipe, etc.......lol. It helps me to think that I am loved.

I too like the licking but Cello is not a big kisser once in a while I will get a kiss from him.So sweet!
If I could get kisses from combing him, cello would be sporting a wig too
