I always thought it was to be stainless too, that's what I was told to change to when Samantha developed it and I bought a ton of those little stainless bowls at Walmart, then just change it out every day and throw them in the dishwasher. She still gets it though and I have to keep a careful watch on her, cleaning her chin, and she's 8 years old.
