Do you guys think we should have a photo gallery on our profiles?
I know we have picture threads and stuff like that, but I keep clicking on people's profiles to see more pictures of their raggies and they might not have a website etc.
Is there any way to do this? I'm pretty new and I dont know how to go about asking the site if this is possible (or if it already exists).
I swear, i'm not trying to turn this into myspace or anything, I just like looking at picture of Ragdolls a lot.
If you go to their profile, click view all threads; that is all the threads that person has posted. You can also view all posts.

I know, but I still think it would be really cool to have them all as thumbnails on your profile.
Think of it, a whole gallery devoted to each of your cats!
BTW Jake looks very pretty, my Ragdoll is a Blue color point too.

That does sound good but Im not sure if its possible. Maybe you could email/PM the owner and ask as this may cost them more to pay the server etc. Why not make it once you reach 50 posts or something because we dont really want lurkers to have them? Bit of a waste of money if the owner had to pay. Plus gives you something to aim for
Another idea is that we could post a thread where you say your name and which cat is yours, DOB, colour, pattern and a photo. But instead of updating it, we only update it when we need to put our new cats on there. That way you can put a name to the username and cats people own. Another forum has it and I think its wonderful, although that forum is a lot bigger it means we know who owns that cats we love or what cats the people we like own.
ETA - Thanks for your compliment on Jake

Your blue point (Budgie?) looks very pretty too.

Very good idea, on both points.
I never really thought of it money wise, that would probably cost them huh.
I suppose if a lot of people like the idea i'll send a message or something.
I think that would be a fun thread! Great job!
What forum is that? Maybe i'll check it out.
The forum is
http://www.cat-world.com.au/forums/index.php
It is mostly Australian with the few exceptions, although their is a lot more members. I prefer this one over it, I have learnt a lot from cat-world but prefer the more friendly attitude here. I dont mean to say they are nasty or anything but they are mostly breeders and can get a bit snappy at times when certain issues come up with new members. Still its a fantastic forum and I dont mean to bag it. I certainly recommend it

lots of fantastic information and Im constantly learning something new whether it be genetics or blood types or history of the ragdoll breed. Its packed full with information.
Thanks for your interest...
The forum software we use does not have this capability as it is setup to be 'forums' and not a social networking site. Most forum software doesn't have this type of feature. As the site grows we are always looking at ways to expand and make it more interactive, so it is not out of the realm of possibility, although we don't want to change the site completely.
And yes, there is cost involved
