I know it's been wayyy too long, but I've been keeping up with things off and on. New job and working on my thesis has made it hard to do much else. I haven't taken a ton of pictures, but I have some cute ones of Luca and Lexi from the last few weeks. Lexi now has a pretty severe case of conjunctivitis, so we're giving her this ointment 2x/day. She just looks pitiful with the gooey discharge spread across her face from her rubbing it. And she is much less active than usual--she wont even engage with her playing buddy, the lab puppy. Luca is fine and hasn't caught what Lexi has (yet...fingers crossed it'll stay that way).

As far as their interactions together, they snuggle occasionally, and play from time to time, but not nearly as much as I'd thought. It seems Lexi has 10x the energy as Luca so he isn't too interested. It's like having one grown cat and one kitten, but they're both supposed to be young and full of energy (I thought!). They don't fight or anything though, so that's something to be grateful for.

Luca has become much more lovey the last week or so. Before he more or less kept to himself; he didn't mind being pet but he didn't come LOOKING for it. Now he wakes me up at 6am every morning with head butts and meows and only stops if I pet him. He also climbs all over me on the couch for love. Of course, it's only on his terms, and when he's done, he's DONE.

Also, I finally got them registered. Luca's breeder does TICA so he's registered with them as Chattouille Luca L'Amour (for his gentle, loving personality), Lexi is registered in CFA as Lottarags Sugar & Spice (since one second she's bouncing off the walls and the next she's cuddling up to you like nothing ever happened).

That's about it for now. Just some pics to show you how big they're getting!!
