I'm having trouble trying to get good photos of my cats. If i dont use the flash, they move to quickly and the photo is just a blur and if i use the flash - it ruins all there colouring and makes them have freaky alien eyes.
What is everyones tricks to get good photos??

My main trick is good lighting... I try to do only pics by daylight on a clear day. My camera is rather recent but it doesn't handle quick cats very well

And then I take a lot of pics knowing that only a few are going to be good. Last weekend I was on a streak as most were really nice... but then it was a very sunny day

Puss Puss is so cute. When you're as close as you are to your subjects - be sure you use your Macro setting for better clarity. The lighting looks pretty good, but it may be out of focus because you're too close with the setting you're using.
What a cutie and mine does the same and my breeder said have the lighting behind me and since doing that it works. I also set up a place to take pictures on my kitchen table with the chairs on side to make a semi rectangle or whatever shape it is. The put material or whatever you want to make a pretty picture. It does work. That is how I got the pict in my signature. Thanks for trying anyway.
Edward & Puss Puss are beautiful. Great pictures at the end. I think you're getting the hang of it!!

The photos are great - we really aren't that bothered about the quality of the photo, it's the subject matter we're interested in!!
