Oh My Gosh, thats so cute is the first thing that came to mind. I love the seal mitts because the contrast between the white paws and dark seal is so pretty.

Linda,
Poo may be a bit better, however her newest nick name is "Madpee". She's peed 6 times since 4am, 5 in a box, a few after I placed her in them as I felt it was about time and once in the corner of the nursery when I let her go see dad. She flew across the bed, landed on the floor, zipped to the corner and squatted. That's the first time I know of that she's wet the carpet. She's mostly been using the bed.........Later, she also tried to hit the bedspread but I intervened in time.
She slept in the living room with me on the highest level of the tree. I was on the couch near by, not on the tree........lol. I have a box in the middle of the living room and one in the dining room. Yesterday, she was pretty good about stopping long enough to use them, but a few times I decided just to put her in one and see and sure enough, she'd pee. She has always peed at least 7 times a day since we got her, whether it be box or bed. Yesterday it was at least 8 balls I fished out. I'm having her checked to see if she's diabetic. I'm giving her less food in the bowl since she seemed to gorge herself the night before. I thought getting her out and about might help distract her a bit on drinking/eating but tho I didn't notice her at the fountain much, the pee level was about the same. While I don't wish my kid illness, I'm thinking if it is a UTI and she's correctly treated, then maybe this will stop. If it's behaviorial, then I'm going to need tranquilizers to retrain her.......lol. I've never had this magnitude of a problem like this before, especially with a wee one, so maybe I've just been very lucky through the years.

Hi Diane,
Given that she's so young, it sounds more like Madisyn has a UTI. They pee a lot when they have a UTI or cystitis, because it's uncomfortable and they have the urge to go. And often, they can't make it to the litter box in time so they pee where it's comfortable, typically on a bed, in the bathtub, etc. Have you noticed if her pee has a pink tinge to it? That would be a sign her bladder is inflamed.
Overall though, the quicker you can get her in to see the vet, the better. They can give her something for her discomfort, and likely an antibiotic. With Teddy having cystitis last fall, I now give him Cosequin daily to help keep his bladder healthy. You might want to talk to the vet about it. It's a glucosamine supplement that you can get from Pet Meds online (I had a hard time finding it in a store in Calgary), and you just sprinkle it on their wet food.
Take care - she's adorable!
