That boy has some great flops!!!
That was a wonderful flop show!! I made me smile thank you, Conny. Dorothy
I think we have a new category. Forward flop in the last pic.
Glad you all enjoyed the pics.
By the way, we don't only photograph Gabriel, the other cats get camera attention too.
Not being a Raggie expert I have to ask. What is his type? Seal ? Bicolor? Because he has the same markings and color as Fay.
Very nice flops..
To tell you the truth, I have no idea Dave.
Gabriel is a rescue.
I'm no Ragdoll expert either, in fact, until three years ago, I didn't even know what a Ragdoll was (other than a floppy doll).
Then I stumbled across a Ragdoll forum, fell in love with them, researched them and learned all about them.

I didn't feel comfortable though among the Ragdoll owners, being the only one who only had 'normal' cats.
I dearly wanted one, but they were not in my price range.

Then I stumbled across a picture of a Ragdoll looking for a home.
I didn't think twice and without even seeing him in the flesh (or in the fur so to speak) put a hold on him.
Three days later he was mine.

The forum was upset with me because I didn't get Gabriel from a reputable breeder.
I didn't care.
This kitty needed a good home and I knew I would be able to give him that.

Ironic isn't it, I was on that board for over two years. not feeling one of the crowd because I didn't have a Ragdoll.
Now that I had one, they rejected me because of Gabriel's background.
So I left.

For the record, Gabriel is not the product of a backyard breeder.
His father is from Texas, his mother is from Toronto.
The breeder didn't want to keep him because - as he said - Gabriel is imperfect.

He's perfect enough for me and he's super healthy.
I never regretted adopting him.

I wasn't gonna say anything, for fear that some of you might reject me too, but better that you know my story now than later.
Gabriel's just perfect the way he is. I say he is a seal bicolor and his little seal chin is SO cute!! He needed a home and you had one. That works for me and it sure looks like it works for him too!! Perfect is in the eye of the beholder!! It makes no difference to me where Gabriel came from. He is still a very cute kitty. I hope you stay because it really doesn't matter!! We love raggies, moggies, dogs, birds, etc. Where a person gets their furkids is their business and no one should snub you for that!!
Dorothy
Thank you Dorothy, that's very reassuring.
By the way, who is the owner of this board?
Do you ever get trolls?
I noticed I didn't need to be approved before joining.
