This afternoon we lost Sassy. It was very sudden and we have no idea what happened. 5 mins earlier she was chasing a bird which she'd caught in the run and brought inside. I got the bird outside then within a few mins my son found Sassy lying on the table not moving. I tried cpr but I knew she was gone. We are all in shock, it happened so quick. I can't believe she's gone.
She will be missed so much.

UPDATE
The muscles surrounding Sassy's heart were thickened resulting in her having a heart attack. It would have been instant, she wouldn't have known what was happening.

Oh Jan - I don't even know what to say I am so shocked!! She was such a beautiful and healthy looking girl that it seems unfathonable! My sincerest sympathies to you and your family at this awful time.

Prayers go out to you and your family. Sometimes we just do not understand but you shall always remember her as she was and love her. I do understand what you are going through and do know I am here if you need someone to listen to you. Again, know how sad we all for your loss and shall remember you in our prayers.
