Umm I have a girlfriend who has found a registered breeder who is selling a Blue Mitted Mink ragdoll ?
Firstly whats a MINK ?
All I know is his about $2000.00AUD and thats just the PET price !
Is that normal ??
I would say NO!! From my research in minks I have not seen any pet quality minks sell for that much. Breeding rights yes but not pet quality. I think the minks are really cute but I like the brown colors not mixed with the blues. One of the sites that I've been looking at that has the minks is
http://www.rastaragdolls.com. They have the blue mink patterns. Mink is not a color accepted in the show rings from what I understand. They are really cute though. I put a picture of the seal mitted mink. I think these are SO cute.

Minks are non-pointed cats which are an unaccepted variant in Ragdolls. Minks have one sepia gene replacing one of the two pointed genes of the Ragdoll. This causes the eyes to be aqua rather than blue and the coat to be darker than a pointed cat should be and muddies the higher contrast sought between points and body colors of pointed cats. To get minks, one just breeds in a Burmese origin cat to a pointed cat, since the Burmese has two sepia genes.
