I just wanted to let you all know that Puff went to the groomer and looks good. The had to shave small areas where he was matted but you can hardly tell. They asked if I wanted him shaved like a lion and I said "NO". they say most folks want that look. I will continue to work hard brushing or combing him daily so he does not mat.
I was wonderfing if your cats shed- Puff has been shedding and it does not appear to be stopping. Do I have a problem here?

I LOVE the lion cut.....wish you did too! Our first Katie (non-raggie, although long hair kitty) go a lion cut...when I first saw her I laughed out loud...it was such a surprise....shortly thereafter, I stifled myself because I knew she would think I was laughing AT her....I immediately gave her lots of loving and told her what a beautiful girl she is...it was cool...
They grow the hair back pretty quickly, so I wouldn't hesitate if I were you.
I'm sure Puff is happy the matts are out though.

My guys are continually malting so I am always going round the house with a hoover - not much fun... glad to hear all went well at the grooming place though
