Hi, im picking up my ragdoll this Friday. He's a blue colourpoint and he looks gorgeous!! I've got a bit of a worry though, ive never had a ragdoll cat before, mine is male and i know they tend to grow pretty big. I know i will need a decent sized litter tray for when he's older.

Here is one that ive seen: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...TQ:GB:1123

Its is 19.5" (50cm) LENGTH x 15" (38cm) WIDTH x 17" (43cm) HEIGHT

Would you say this ok??

If not, can you guide me to some sites that have good ones for full grown raggies. I'm from the UK so if you post UK websites i'd be grateful.

Thank You
With covered boxes, some Ragdolls do better with larger ones and some do not need them. The one you found should be fine. A kitten might prefer a lower opening, but most kittens would not have any trouble using it too. In general, Ragdolls do not need larger than usual litter pans based on the cat's size. Cats who like to toss litter may do better with boxes with higher sides or covered ones.

Hi, as you are in the UK, this is a site you will find very useful, you will have a lot of choice on there. I have got the Gimpet delux, Frankie likes to throw the litter around! He also has the Van Ness one in his run. Hope this will help you.

Hi. The VanNess trays are good. We use the open ones for the charity but for my own indoor cats I have some lovely hooeded trays that I have bought from Pets at Home. However, I have always removed the flaps. I used to have Persians (still have one) and always had moggies too. But no matter the size of the cats, when they go in they have little room to turn around as the flap is often still resting on their backs and they don't like it one bit. The bigger the trays the better is my motto. One tray per cat plus one spare is the rule of thumb too.
Thanks for the replies. I might just buy the Gimpet Deluxe, looks pretty good.

Thanks again
