Every night at bedtime, I take Smoke out a treat and pet him for a while (his "suite" is right outside our back door on the patio, under an awning). So I turn around to come back in and I'm grabbing at the storm door handle when I pull back and give a little yell -- poor thing - he was probably more scared than I was. Of course I still had to push the button to get in and get the camera and back out for a pic and back in again -- and he's still in the same place!!

OMG Teresa,,,,, , that huge frog toad what is it ?You would hear me screaming through the neighborhood if that showed up on my door nob.You must grow things huge in AL.
I think it is actually a tree frog. It has long fingers with suction cups at the ends. I guess it's the heat and humidity here that helps them grow, LOL!! Too bad you don't have it, huh?
What a cutie pie.....I've learned to love froggies since I have grown them from taddies....the last of ours have gone this year.
OMG !Teresa if I saw that I would go running and screaming are you sure that thing is not eating Smokey's food.:)Or worse yet eating Smoky!
I have to admit he does have a cute face,,,,lol..

And that is a awesome pic that you captured.
Great pic, Teresa!! Fancy finding that on your door handle, I would have jumped too! Though it's better than a spider! Do you get many spiders where you live?
Thank you Linda for making me laugh tonight. You are SO funny. That little frog would NOT hurt you and would leap away just as fast as you went running. I can just see you running thru the neighborhood!! I needed a laugh. Thanks again!!
