Any recommendations for a good general/show shampoo?

Thank you!
i really like the Fido's range. it has a beautiful scent and is recommended for kittens and puppies.

but am unsure if its an australian product or international?
I just tried F1R2 shampoos and was very impressed with the result on my ragdoll. The other brands I use are local so I won't bother you with those Big Grin

I purchased this shampoo but I didn't like that it was concentrate and I had to mix it with water. Did you mix it with water in a container or in the bath water?

Thanks! Smile

Is their any particular one I should purchase from this site?
Thanks! Smile
I either mix it in a mug with warm water (when it's with Cyrano who hates the shower head) or use it directly on the cat (with Diwan as he doesn't mind to stand below the running water). A lot of shampoos need to be mixed (some of the Jerob if not all too), it's not that complicated. The F1R2 are not that concentrated (usually 2:1) so it's really not an issue.
I might try the Jerob products next time. I know my usual shop for those things has them too Smile

They are out of one of the best basic (herbal) and seem to have dropped the bay rum scented one. If the coat is not too oily, then the cocoa butter/mink is good. I have not used the coat color ones, but the most appropriate would seem to be the one for light coats - Snowy Blue. The rinses, conditioners and detangler are also good as needed.

We start with Groomer's Goop, as needed, then move to Dawn dish blue liquid, then a general shampoo, including Jerob ones, for multiple times and then end with a shampoo, even of lesser quality, of the scent we like best. Then rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse ... The other products depend on the coat condition at the time.

As for mixing, we create a bottle of mixed/dilute shampoo to use over time, but sometimes we just put a very small amount on the already wet coat. However, rinsing is even more important if you try the latter.
Jan, do you use a diluted vinegar rinse or just thoroughly with water?
We have used dilute white vinegar as a second final rinse - definitely for a show bath.
