Oh wow, do you know how dangerous it is to ask a librarian that??
My problem is I read so much that I forget the titles......
Recently (within the past month or so) I've done (I say done because I also do unabridged audio books)
Sudden Death by David Rosenfelt
Don't look Twice by Andrew Gross
First Family by David Baldacci
Gone Tomorrow by Lee Child
Look Again by Lisa Scottoline
What I'm reading now:
Max: A Maximum Ride Novel by James Patterson
Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Titan's Curse (Young adult series)
Twilight -- haven't started this one yet, but my niece is making me read it!!
The Book of Old Houses by Sarah Graves
And I am highly anticipating the release of Finger Lickin Fifteen by Janet Evanovich!

I LOVE Harry Potter. I was so sad that the series ever ended...I felt like I was losing touch with some good friends. Enjoy them! Have you seen the movies yet? I can't wait for the Half-Blood Prince that comes out in July!!

to any twilight saga lovers go to stephanie meyer's website she started wtiring a book about edwards account on his life but someone who worked for her stole it and posted it on the net, so she stopped writting it and put it on her website for her fans to read themselves.
i have favourite authors i tend to stick by (very closed minded i know). i love to read. im so bad ill even read the writing on a cereal box or reciept..LOL
authors i think are great reads
Maggie Alderson
Danielle Steele
Stephanie Meyer.
i absolutely love the twilight saga.
i cant wait to go to library on uni break and get the max amount of books out. another problem i have is i will re read a book iv already read. for instance the habour and a perfect stranger by danielle steele both are the most amazing and heart wrenching books you will ever come accross.

What kind of books do you like Ruthann? I like thrillers, I used to love Patricia Cornwell, but have not enjoyed her last few, It's almost like she has someone else writing them for her.
I also love Stephen King my very favourite book ever is 'The Talisman' it's was written with Peter Straub and they wrote a sequel a few years ago called Black House, that was a really good book.
I read a book by Almudena Grandes recentlly, a Spanish author (translated into English) called The Wind from the East, it's was a great book and a real page turner, it follows the lives of 3 characters who happen to come into each others lives, I would highly recommend it.
And also if you like Thrillers, Karin Slaughter is another author I love, she can be a bit gory but I love them. The first book was Kisscut, then I think it was Blindsighted and she has around four or five out since then.

I will read just about anything. I have read LOVE Harry Potter and was one of those crazy people who got the midnight edition when they came out! I've read Twilight and for those who like that, you may enjoy the Charlaine Harris Sookie Stackhouse series but be warned...these are books for adults..they get a little smutty! I also enjoy Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series! I just finished the Time Travellers Wife but will read a lot of books recommended by Oprah etc because they are books that I would not normally choose. I enjoy mysteries, Harlan Coben, Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson and John Grisham. I also enjoy Children's stories...I just ordered the Lightening Thief (part of that Olympian series mentioned above), have read Inkheart and have the Artemis Fowl series (which I just remembered!) sitting on my bookshelf. I try to encourage my children to read those too! I also read some self interest stuff like for gardening, camping etc. I will read just about anything.
