Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to talk about something different.

How much did your Ragdoll cost?
What colour or marking is it?
Whats the most expensive thing you've bought for your raggie?
How old is he currently?

Obviously were all from around the world, so the money will mean different of eachother .. but still be fun to see how Raggies are priced around the world Smile

So I'll start ..

I bought Humphrey for $550 AUD from Winuova Cattery. His a Seal Lynx Ragdoll.
The most expensive thing I bought him was his bed - which has a heating pad in it for those cold nights ! Cost about $250 !!
Titan cost $480.
he is a Mitted Sealpoint.
Titan has many many toys, if we hadnt built his three level kitty condo it probably would have been expensive.
although i was so close to buying a expensive kitty loo but they sold out, sooo he got the high walled one, which he jumps over for 'fun', i think its cos he is lazy.
his fave toy is his tube, you know those ones that was made of noisy material??
and it just sooo happens titan turns 3 months today!

my next one is going to be a lot more expensive but she, i for some reason feel its a she, will be a lot more expensive as she comes from a a very well known and reputable breeder. nd also that she is going to be a lilac.
Jake, a blue point boy, cost me $600 Australian Dollars as a pet and a further $15 to get his reg papers for showing from Kyeema Ragdolls who have been breeding for over 12 years now. Jake is 16 months old.

Jasper, a lilac bicolour boy, cost me $750 Australian Dollars from Amberglade Ragdolls. The price difference was because of the increase of desexing costs and that he is also a true lilac ragdoll. Jasper is almost 7 months old.

Oscar, a seal point boy, cost me $650 Australian Dollars from Amberglade Ragdolls, as said above price increase was because of the increase of desexing fees etc. Oscar is 6 months old.

For me the thing that costs the most money with the raggies isnt a object but the shows they compete in ! (excluding food and litter of course)
OH wow ..
I would LOVE to have Humphrey as a show cat - but his not show quality Sad because of his tail - his got a bend in it .. which he was born with so the breeder said he couldnt be used in shows !
But still .. I can just pretend his one Wink haha
LOL he looks pretty enough to be one, I was so lucky I could show my Jake because he was actually bought as a pet but when we sparked our interest in showing we were told he had stunning quality and has since one quite a few ribbons and awards. The other two were bought as show kittens Smile

Maximus would of been show quality.. I remember reading on the website.. I think my hopes were up just as much as yours Rolleyes

PS - Has his sister found her home yet?
His sister is being kept on by the breeder as a queen, s he was breeding quality only.

Titan too has a 'hook' tail.

:-(
My Huggy is a ragdoll and his original owners paid $1000 for him.He escaped and found me when he was 8 months and very sick. When he was healthy he was feral. With alot of patience he is nearly 5 yrs. and no longer feral. The most expensive toy he has is a cat condo for which I paid $400. He is huge.About 25 lbs. now and on a diet.Being as he was starved in the 4 months he was in the wild he gets very upset when his food dish is empty,so wish me luck.lol
OK' I'm not sure if it's a language issue or I'm just being dim (probably the latter Big Grin ) but what's a 'cat condo?'
Um it is a multistorey cat scatch. lots of levels to play with basically.
Thanks Danni ~ we'd call them cat trees here in England.

Lily and Maia cost £350 each, but I must have spent a fortune on toys for them over the last 18 months....

I would say the most expensive thing was the cat tree at around £80 , but it's worth every penny. Their favourite toy would have to be their play tunnels: they spend ages dashing through chasing each other. They were about £14 each but we got them half price .
