Use this forum to talk about anything else you like...the weather, politics etc.

We just ask that you keep it clean and civilized, and absolutely no advertising can be placed in this section or you will be banned immediately.

Have fun chatting!
wow that was quick....how exciting!!!
Yes, I guess we shouldn't talk about ragdolls ALL the time...
What else is there to talk about???
ok....so...do people have hobbies outside of ragdolls - arts, crafts, books, sports, anything - share what it is you like to do in your spare time (if you get any).
I am an avid reader. I read A LOT! There is a really good web site out there where you can swap books. It works out really well...you get lots of good books for very little money. You have to pay postage if your book is selected by another member, but in turn you get to select another book to be mailed to you. I would name the site but I don't know if the admin. would consider that advertising! It is a free site. I also do a little knitting, which is difficult with a young cat in the house! My sister is teaching me to quilt. I have finished the top. Our lessons are on hold until after the Holidays. Merry Christmas to all of you and your fuzzy little buddies! Judy
thanx Jude, i too like to read - just find it hard to find time escpecially with this forum!!! LOL. I am a bit of a chicken when it comes to choosing new genre's to read though - i am the psychological/crime thriller kind of reader!!

I taught myself to knit approx 2 years ago - that has been on hold for at least a year now as we did major house renovations and i just had to put it all away! I also love to scrapbook - i have about 3 albums with the intent to fill, but always find that i have fallen behind - but i love to do it and at least do 2 pages every year (as a christmas present for my inlaws!)

That is a great question!! Ragdolls is a major hobby, showing, and such. I also really enjoy spending time with our dog, Annabelle. We love to garden, (not the weather for it right nowSmile) I enjoy photography, not very good at it, and would love to get the time for a class, but still love taking pictures of our kids and the kitties!!! Since this particular forum started, and we began having so many new people from many places, we found that we enjoyed going online with the kids, so they can learn about all of the different places. My son loves learning about the weather in different places.
I also enjoy making websites, my husband went to school for webdesign, and is really good at it, so I have just watched him over the past years, and picked up some of it.
I love art, I love drawing, I am not good at painting, but place a pencil or pen in my hand, and I can do okay. It isn't anything, someone would spend money on, but it is something I really love doing.
I also enjoy reading, but don't find a lot of time for it. I am still very much a kid, when it comes to books, my favorite still being the Narnia collection. I haven't even let the kids see the movie, as they have to get old enough to read the book first.Smile I also really enjoy books, with Dean Koontz or Stephen King.
My husband loves history, and it has finally rubbed a bit off on me, so I also enjoy reading about many different things.
Our family collects rocks, minerals, and gems. It is primarily Ashlan's hobby, but we all help with it. She has an amazing collection, of so many different kinds, and very beautiful.
See, I do have a life outside kids and Ragdolls, just not much of one.Big Grin

Hmmm...besides Ragdolls? I love to cook. My husband appreciates that! Gardening. We just recently bought a home. We had lived in the same apt. in Victoria B.C. Canada for 17 yrs., and could only have a deck garden. So, I can hardy wait to get started in the Spring. We really like to go camping too! But it's going to be a little difficult now with our 2 Ragdolls. Maybe we can go for 3 days or so. I am into nutritional health. Organics.
'Admin said - Keep it clean'

Hmmm...does that mean I can talk about sex in the bath??? *evil grin*
