If I respond to a poster using an email, how do I know iI have received an answer, & how to I read it? Specifically, I responded to a cat availablr for rehoming- "blue mitted male" & responded to elitereefs but I'm not sure how to access. Thanks!
If you sent an actual e-mail (the email address was provided in the posting for the cat) then most likely they will respond to your e-mail address used to send the message. If you used the private messaging feature of the board, then when you are responded to, you will get a pop up message to let you know you've received a private message in return, and you will also receive an e-mail (whatever you listed when you registered) to let you know you have a private message.
Links to the private message section is found at the top of each screen under your name in blue.
TeresaK explained it...private messages are within this forum and will show messages just like a typical email client will and you will be notified when you get a new message.
