Our sick cat went through what one vet said was behavioral but wasn't as every test came back ok. I got alot of literarure from the vet on how to help including Feliway and it did not help us either for that. The best thing we did was retain him and reward him when he did the litterbox challenge as we called it. The hard part was having to put him in a different room unless we were home to watch. I do understand what you are going through and it can be flrustrating to say the least. The vet said it is this that is the #1 reason many get rid of the cat or cats they have or even put them down. Not us...we endured til his end. The worse was when he was sick he peed on the couch and we finally got the smell out. Nasty is all I can say.

Well, be patient as you are and give the cats much love and talk to them often.
JerziePeach Wrote:Feliway has only been in for a week. So far, no difference. All three of them are chasing each other around this morning. I finally put one in the bedroom, one on the patio and the other with me because they are driving me NUTTY!!!! There is only so much puffy tails and hissing I can take in one morning. Theo is starting all of it!!! Little Punky- Butt...urrrgggg Smile
I have two HUGE litter boxes BTW... she's just a brat is all. They all get plenty of alone time with me equally.

I am sorry you are going through this. I did want to say in my experience the feliway plug-ins do not work. I have had positive experiences with the spray though.
I am glad to hear Theo is doing better. It was great that you noted this when you did and got him to the vet.

Just thought I would update that Theo is doing fabulous. The puncture holes are healing great and have scabbed over now. None of the tissue has died and it looks like he will be just as handsome as ever when is fur grows back in. It looks like we got it caught just in time Smile

He is back to his normal terror of a self! LOL

Happy Easter
GREAT NEWS!
I'm so glad to hear that Theo is back to himself. That was quite a scare you had there!!
