hello all

I come to your nice forum on a sad day. we will be moving unexpected and we will not be able to bring out Ragdoll with us.
i hate to lose him but i have to do whats best for the cat.

He was purchased from Simonsezz ragdolls in Feb of last year. he is a blue mitted ragdoll and in great health. temperment is active and very sweet. he IS NOT neutered. He has never set foot outside. great with our kids, great with the dog and even will let our african grey parrot walk around the hosue without bothering him

i am very worried about making sure he goes to a proper home. i am a bit affraid of placing a ad in the paper so i thought i would come to a place like this where people have a vested interest in these cats. I will have a small addoption fee (compared to original cost) to weed out the weirdos.

He was sold as pet quality but is VERY beautiful. We have no intensions of ever showing so that did not matter to us. i could not tell the difference if you asked me to lol.

please message me or send email to elitereefs@verizon.net if you are interested in seeing pictures. if you happen to have ideas of the safest way to place him in a home that would be appriciated as well.

thanks
Keith
forgot a few of the most basic details.

His name is Wilson
Age = approx 15 months
location= Saint Petersburg FL
Have you contacted your breeder to see if he/she will assist in rehoming? Lots of times breeders have requests from people looking for an older ragdoll.

yes i did and she seemed helpful but once she found out he has not been neutered she seemed to back off a bit saying thats a problem becasue someone will snatcher him up very quickly to breed her cats.

I am not sure is she meant that from a business stand point of from an ethical stand point. maybe both. she said she would call me back. i guess we will see
Do keep working with Doris. If possible, you do want to neuter him now, which will make it easier to place him where you know he will not be abused in a kitten mill. If finances are a problem, then you can charge enough to cover that, which should be inexpensive someplace near you and the local shelters will know vets willing to do inexpensive castrations.

Good luck in finding a good home. It should not be a problem as long as you are willing to take the time needed and to be careful in selection - and Doris can help you with the latter as well.
still available. only had one responce so far and it I was not feeling it when we spoke.

PS: never heard anything back from the breeder. I also wanted to mention this is the same type of follow up i received when i made the purchase. no big deal really but for some it would be so i thought i would mention it
I was wondering if the cat is still available? I would need to know if he is comfortable around dogs. any pictures?
You may want to email him directly as I believe there is an email address in the first post.
Hello again! I am interested in your kitty. Is he still available? I am not sure how to retrieve messages on this site, so you may have to respond on this area. I prefer a young adult cat to a kitten, & yours is used to being around dogs, which is perfect for us. Thank you!
we do still have wilson but we WILL NOT be shipping him
