That they can tell time - especially when it's 6am (even on the weekends)

That my main clothing accessory would be raggie fur

I didn't know I could love my cats as much as I love my dogs.

I didn't know I would walk around for much of the day with a kitten lying belly-up in my arms and not mind.

I didn't know cats could fetch.

I didn't know I wouldn't mind two kittens lying on my head at night.

I didn't know what I didn't know. Now I know.

I didn't know I would feel guilty closing a door.

I didn't know I would cry rivers when my little Birman was so depressed to be alone he cried in front of the mirror.

I didn't know I could 'aww' a hundred times a day because of all the adorable things my darlings do.

I didn't know that they can shack paws.

I didn't know that my alarm clock would be replaced with a fuzzy buzzy noise.

I didn't know that I would be meeting so many nice people.

I didn't know that Cello would help heal a broken heart.

I didn't know how addicting they would be and I would want one of each color.

I didn't know I would prefer to sleep uncomfortably at night instead of moving and possibly waking my girls up who are snuggled up to me.

I didnt know it was possible to miss your kitty more than you miss your husband while on an all-girl's vacation! lol

I didn't know that wet baby wipes would come in handy for battling cling-on's

That you can teach a cat to roll over.
That they sit in the most uncat-like way.

I never knew I would be swatted at on a daily basis for attention.
I never knew he would take over the household as the "titan of terror"
I never expected everyone who comes to my house to give him more attention than the dog (who gets jealous )
I never expected him to be so verbal... all day, all night... ALL the dang time
