Shylo likes to play with me when I read any kind of newspaper or letter she swats at them, then tries to bite and eat the paper. I`m afraid she will get sick from eating the paper. She lies on our office desk and eats the mail. I guess she is helping me get rid of some of my debt. Any suggestions on how to get her to stop?Has anyone had this happen with their fur babies?
She most likely bites and tears rather than eating much. Usually, particular types of items appeal and the best fix may be to just put those things away.
Our Raggies like to chew on paper. They never ingest it, but the kids have made me pictures, and the corner there are little chew marks. I have had to make sure the kids pick up their stuff when they are done, to prevent this. If Shylo isn't ingesting the paper, I wouldn't be too concerned, except for the important paper that has her love bites on it.
