Im not sure whether he would be microchipped, depends what breeder. My ragdoll didnt come microchipped.
Dexter might be the dad of the flame point kitten, another beautiful ragdoll looking kitten would have to be half Dexter and half moggie. You wouldnt think their would be pretty pure looking moggies around the place so much.
I hope you can catch the little flame kitten soon! It would be great if you could catch the ferals around your home, even just to get them desexed then put back if they are too feral to get rehomed. Stop the amount of kittens around the place getting higher.
Good Luck and thanks for giving Dexter a home and trying to catch the flame kitten!
I've caught a few cats mostly just random black or black/white kittens running around. There is a low cost spay/neuter clinic here that charges $25 to have a male neutered so it's really cheap and i dont mind doing it if it keeps kittens from popping up.
Although this is a nice area to live in I think people see it as a cat dumping ground figuring SOMEONE will take care of it. Unfortunately usually they roam wild and become too feral for anyone to take in.
The flame point is young enough I believe to be a great pet eventually (if he'll ever slip up and actually go in the trap!) If I ever catch him i'll post pictures!
Better watch out Rise -- next thing you know, you'll actually be adding ragdoll cats to your family!! My first cat was a stray and looked and acted just like a ragdoll. He was so wonderful that when he died, I bought two ragdoll cats, just because I wanted one like him. They really are addictive.

I can definitely see how that is possible! I've never gone out and bought a cat but after having him even for such a short time his temperment and disposition are like nothing I have seen in any of my own or even other family/friends house cats. He's just so much different I can't quite put my finger on it. My other cat isn't one that will just cuddle up with you UNLESS he wants to but this furry creature just wants to be held and loved on all the time and he's so silky and soft it's hard to resist him.
I would certainly look at buying another sometime should anything happen to my tabby. He's getting up there in years but still healthy!
