Hi all,

My 5 month old kitten Freddie has been grinding his teeth for a couple weeks now. Regularly during the day he'll act as if he's chewing on something hard. Is this a normal teething activity for a kitten of his age? My other boy, Milo, doesn't grind his teeth at all but he's a bit less developed than his brother.

Have you looked in his month ? Are his gums inflamed?
I'm not an expert but I don't think that is normal.
I'm sure one of the more knowledgeably people on this site can tell you better.

If you cannot see something caught in his teeth or some other explanation, then it would be good to have a vet check.

Thanks everyone, I will take Freddie to the vet. I can't see any inflammation but if this isn't normal he should be checked out.
