Welcome Tracie - Is the rescue group you're with affiliated with Marilyn Wagner's group?
I can help with transports in the SF Bay Area if you ever need help.
Victoria, Dillinger, Maggie & Capone
Do you know Marilyn?
We don't do transports as we don't have fosters or that .
We are a contact. the people giving up the cats contact us we send out questionaire & they send that back with a picture we put the ad up for free & then if people are interested in that particular cat we have them contact the owner of that cat.

I used to be involved with Jacqui's group, Regal Felines, and I know Marilyn (through emails) from that.
I'm a foster failure. My Capone came from a high-kill shelter and I was going to socialize him and then Regal Felines was going to put him up for adoption. I don't anyone believed I'd ever give that sweet baby up. My other foster was a pure bred Raggie that had behavioral problems, so I kept him for a year until a perfect home came along.
Here's a picture of Capone as a kitten, it's a little fuzzy. The second picture is Romeo.

Beautiful babies. You aren't a failure if more people were like you we wouldn't have the need for doing what we do but unfortuantely we do need rescues to help.
Thank you for saving these wonderful babies.

People who don't want there ragdolls email me I then send them a questionaire & they send it back along with a picture I then make an ad up we have people donate to a worthy cause then i send it to the coordinator who then puts the ad up for everyone to see & they contact the person who has the cat.
That is how we work.
I would love to have a building for just rescuing ragdolls but i can't afford that. LOL
I do what I can & sometimes it's enough sometimes it's not.

Hi Tracie,
Welcome to the forum. If you ever have any rescues in Michigan, I would be interested. I love the raggies, their dispositions mostly and I would love to have a playmate for my 1 year old raggie Webster. What you do is wonderful. Keep up the good work!
Sue
I'll keep posting & if I see one I'll let you know.

Tracie, if Sue isn't already a member of Ragdoll Resuce, you might give her an invitation, so she can receive the emails that show her the links to cats that are in her state.
I believe that Ragdoll Rescue USA ran by a different person, is in need for help with fosters and transport. I am sure any offer in assistance would be appreciated, by either of these rescue groups.
Victoria, I loved the photos of Capone and Romeo, they are beautiful, and your signature is really nice.

I think it is wonderful that you opened your home and heart up to these babies and have not only made them apart of your family, but also helped with bringing joy to another family with the rescue who you fostered for that year.

Hi Tracie and welcome to the forum. My first Raggie came from a rescue in Columbus ,Ohio. Had her for about year and a half. She was mistreated, very scared of people. Then last october decided maybe she would like a friend. Someone didn`t want their 8 year old raggie, really didn`t want to get an older cat, after losing one. But, couldn`t resist her. She was loving and friendly, but she came with behaviour problems. Wetting all over my new carpets. After lots of try and miss things I might have her under control. I love her to much to give up.Again, welcome
