Hi, just wondering if anyone has the Furminator our there. It looks like a pretty cool brush. Wondering how well it really works. Any feedback would be great. Since it is kinda a spendy brush.
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have one, and it keeps the tangles out of Cleo's coat. I cant really use it on my ragdolls because it breaks the hairs, but Cleo is not a raggy and her coat isnt as soft, and gets tangled so easily. So this handy-dandy little brush works and it works WELL!!!

I've used it on Phoenix too and got myself another GSD out of the deal! It get sooooo much fur!! I love it!!
No matter the denials. This is a stripper blade that cuts and breaks the coat. It is harsh and will ruin a good coat. Use combs and the Zoom Groom if you want a full, healthy coat.
I have been wondering about the furminator for some time as it has reached Europe. Funny I was about to ask about it when I saw this message Tongue
A lot of people here maintain that it doesn't cut but from I had seen on the net I had my doubts (especially as you can buy blades for the larger ones). Thanks to confirm that this is definitely not a tool to have Smile I'll keep my combs, brushes and Zoom Groom. If only Diwan liked to be groomed as much as Cyrano my life would be much easier Big Grin

Just bought the zoom groom today and I love it! This is the only brush George has not run away from .
The furminator isn't made for cats such as ragdolls. It is designed to be used on animals (dogs/cats) with double coats. Works great on my greyhound/husky mix, but not necessary on a ragdoll. For our raggie we just use a comb.
