I picked up Rowan on Friday. He is the sweetest cat and loves to ride in the car. Which is good, since we got caught in the snowstorm on the way back and a 4 hour drive became 8 hours. He just slept or watched us from the carrier purring.

He loves to be in my lap or on my shoulder. Here are some pics:

Well, Solaris is finally tolerating him in the same room, so long as Rowan keeps a 4 foot distance and doesn't mind a constant low growl

Rowan, for his part could care less, though he did make the mistake of thinking she was a big toy and pounced her tail. Solaris looked simply stunned, and hestiated before unleashing a steam of hisses, while running away, making her sound like a busted steam valve LOL.

Solaris acts scared of Rowan, which is kinda comical considering he is just under 3 lbs and she is 15 lbs.

Fortunately, there is not even a hint of violence, Rowan is completely chilled and Solaris is all bluster and no bite.

I think it may be a few weeks before I get the Rowan and Solaris together pic, however

Rowan is a very handsome boy! Solario looks to be a camera ham, love that second pic of him.

Solaris actually ignores the camera. I have to have my wife get her attention to get good shots. Rowan however loves the camera, in fact, he tries to get so close to it for a sniff, that I lose most of my shots due to overexposure

He's adorable!! I am such a sucker for ear hair too -- he has so much and it's so long!! It's good to hear that he is settling in so well.
