hey, looking for ragdoll female bluepoint. Out of the litter, 2 is wanted. Oh yeah, I'm from Singapore but my ragdoll is australian pure bred.
Do you have breeding rights for your male, are you experienced or do you have mentors and have you registered a cattery?
doesnt sound that way, supposedly there are Aussie cats getting shipped through the back door by bodgie breeders (not reg I hope)
and a blue point to blue point mating, that will make for a colourful litter lol, I know I have done a few of them
Hey! I got my ragdoll from the petshop! It has a license and everything!
Whitemoon you didn't answer JanH question Do you have breeding rights for your male, are you experienced or do you have mentors and have you registered a cattery?
what is a license? do you mean pedigree papers? who was he bred by?
Yes, I have breeding rights. No, I'm not experienced, but my dads friend will be helping. And no, I haven't got a cattery yet.
Although perhaps a bit late, it is better to arrange the first pair to begin with because their "fit" as a pair is key to avoiding problems.

It is much better to identify potential breeding cats by working with mentors and their contacts rather than a search for a breeding cat from folks you know little about. If your father's friend is an experienced and respected breeder, then that is fine. Otherwise, find those folks who can help you and put you in touch with reputable Ragdoll breeders who have good breeding cats available to you. These mentors need not be Ragdoll breeders. The logical place to start is the breeder of your male, even though not local.

Most reputable breeders will not provide breeding cats without an established cattery nor without some breeder to breeder references.

lol, ok you have peaked my curiosity. What do you get from that ? lol
If you want to breed, do not get the cats from pet shops. No reputable breeder places even PET kittens through pet shops, much less breeding cats. I would doubt any "papers" that came with such cats. Who are the breeding catteries shown on the paperwork you got for the kitten?
