Hello everyone. As you may know I have added a little female Moggie to the family as of last Sunday. Sebastian was having a very difficult time getting used to the new kitty. He spent most of his time hiding in the bath tub. I have been giving him a lot of attention and reassuring him that it will all work out. He was even hissing and growling at my BF's Moggie cat Lilly, when they have been together for a year. He is calming down now, able to be semi close to the new kitty and back to being best buds with Lilly. Lilly and the kitty enjoy chasing each other and the laser light around. If Lilly approaches the kitty she is fine but if the kitty approaches her then she growls and hisses. The first two nights the kitty meowed all night, now she has calmed down and settled in. I have chosen a name for my new kitty...PIXIE.

Just wondering when you get a moggie in the family along with a ragdoll does that mean that the moggie stays indoors fulltime like the ragdoll or will you let her out?
Also what made you choose to get a moggie over another ragdoll? I am thinking about getting another kitty, but Im not sure whether to get another raggie or just a shelter moggie kitty.
cheers Rachael
She has beautiful markings and I love her name!
the name Pixie suits her perfect! She is a cutie

Im glad to hear they are settling in!

It was a little difficult in deciding her name but I thought Pixie fit her, she is my "little pixie".
Rachael to answer your questions...yes Pixie will remain an indoor cat, I would be afraid something would happen to her if I let her out. I wanted a Ragdoll kitten, but when I was all set to get one I found out that I have some medical issues. So the money I was going to spend on the Ragdoll Kitten was needed to pay for upcoming medical bills. Pixie was actually a surprise...my boyfriend knew how disappointed I was about not being able to get a Ragdoll Kitten, so he took me on a surprise trip to pick out a Moggie Kitten. Last year I had surprised him by bringing home Lilly (his moggie cat). When he came home for lunch I was standing there with her behind my back, when he asked what I was hiding I showed him his new kitten.
a very beautiful little pixie she is too!!! I love her markings she looks so cute
She's very cute...and what an adorable name.
I am still struggling with a name for my kitty. Seems like all the ones I like were already registered with my breeder. So I have to pick a different one.
Good luck to you and your new kitty!
